Nominations for the office of Trustee of the Southland Electric Power Supply Consumer Trust are now open.
The Trust is governed by five trustees, three of whom must now retire by rotation. The retiring trustees are Wade Devine, Carl Findlater and David Rose. Retiring trustees are eligible to stand for re-election. David Rose
advised he will not be seeking re-election.
The official nomination paper and a candidate handbook, which sets out the criteria for Trustee, are available by download from www.electionz.com/sepsct, by emailing iro@electionz.com or by phoning the Independent Returning Officer on 0800 666 028.
All completed nominations must be in the hands of the Independent Returning Officer no later than 4pm on Tuesday 17 June 2025 and should be emailed to nominations@electionz.com.
If more than three nominations are received, an election will be held by postal and online voting. Voting will open on Thursday 17 July and close at 12 noon on Thursday 14 August 2025. Consumers with a valid email address will be emailed their voting details on Thursday 17 July 2025. Consumers without a valid email address will be posted a voter pack on Thursday 17 July 2025.
